I know this thread is ancient, but then so am I ha ha…
Lazerdrome was where it all began for me.
I will never forget….Renegade Snares….Take Me Up!!!
I stopped going when Innersense took it over, the best raves at the Lazerdrome were hosted by the Future, meltdown productions, who had nothing to do with Innersense.
I heard that Innersense doubled the cost of the rent then took it over after the Future had built the client base, I then followed the Future at many venues across London, however the Lazerdrome was a top venue, anyone remember them? I still have flyers in a box somewhere. Big shout going out to anyone who remembers FUTURE!
Mick, you are spot on the rent was going up every party. The arena was quality, Dont think the amount of drugs consumed at the club helped. The margate all-dayer was the last 1.
Went out with a bang!!!

Cmment by Karizma Nov 10. This is so true.I was part of the original future team who founded Future. My friend John worked there during the day as security and invited me to come and look at the place to see if we could do a party. I fell in love with the place and we put on our first party. We hired a big system and got about 200 people though the doors. Then we done monthly events and it just grew and grew. I was resident DJ and started inviting the likes of Gachet, Ray Keith and Brian Gee to play and before long they were on my case to play there. Absolutely wicked memories of this place. ANd its tru we founded it and the inner sense drove us out by making the rent unrealistic and took what we created. But we can always be proud of making the best rave South London has ever seen. The best nights of my life thats for sure. I played at midnight on the first NYE there and the memories are still living on/ WHat a place, what a rave and something I will always be proud of as I was part of the original team that made it. Long live the Future team, we were amatuers but we put on a good rave. DJ Micky F
